With a hydrodynamic flat keel design, Shimano's Butterfly Flat-fall Jigs are center balanced so they flatten on the fall. They're designed to be dropped to the desired depth, reeled back up and allowed to fall on free spool, or cast out and allowed to sink on free spool. Jig falls wobbling in a horizontal position, so stays in strike zone longer than conventional jigs.
