FTU's Sabiki Rods are specially designed for deployment with Sabiki Rigs. The 7' Glass blanks are hollow, and the multi-hook rigs reel into their cores until the weight on the end of the rig catches in the concave tip of the rod. In order for this to work, the blanks have a hole in them, just in front of the reel seat.
