FTU’s Kayak Sales Associates are responsible for customer service, sales, and product merchandising in our kayak departments.

Essential Duties:

• Learning our kayak brands, features, and accessories
• Keeping the kayak showroom presentable and fully merchandised
• Kayak and kayak part inventory management
• Helping customers with rentals and rental drop-offs
• Answering customer questions and ensuring they are fit with the right kayak
• Participating in off-site events such as boat shows, demo days, and more

Essential Duties:

• Greeting each customer professionally and with a smile

FTU’s front end cashier is the first and last FTU member the customer will interact with. These associates will be expected to greet customers in a friendly manner and provide the customer with a smooth checkout experience.

• Answer customer questions both over the phone and in person
• Willingness to learn about new products, promotions, and events
• Keep work area neat
• Ability to learn the POS system and handle the check out process.
