The Pop Rivet “Gun” is used to apply self-sealing pop rivets to pad eyes. This tool simply and effectively handles the insertion, sealing, and breaking of the pop rivet, all with one quick squeeze. Almost all of Surf To Summit’s kayak seats and accessories connect to your kayak using solid, marine-grade, brass snaps. These snaps connect to pad eyes, which are mounted to your kayak using self-sealing pop rivets. If you want to do any expansion or customization with your kayak, you are going to need to add more pad eyes, and therefore more pop rivets. The Pop Rivet “Gun” makes the process simple and quick. This model can be adjusted to use four different rivet sizes.
