The pain and irritation of a jellyfish sting can last for hours if not treated. That's because when you brush against the tentacles of a jellyfish, it can leave thousands of "mini harpoons", called nematocysts, buried in your skin. TTF's Jellyfish Sting Relief Gel is designed to cling to the stinging nematocysts so that they can be removed from the skin. If you have a brush with a jellyfish, simply spray the irritated area with our Relief Gel, then scrape it off with a flat-sided object like a credit card. The gel "grabs" the nematocysts and pulls them out when scraped away from the skin.
