We coat behind every guide for a stronger hold in keeping the guides straight and from corrosion getting behind the thread. Every rod is spined so the blank will not twist at the tip, allowing each hook set to have the power and response expected when fishing for that trophy. Each blank is put through a rigorous flex test inspection to ensure there are no visible defects. Following the build process each CastAway rod is put through a final inspection to provide the angler with a tool that will enhance each fishing experience.
