As a result you can achieve long, accurate casts with consistent backlash control. The application of the "smart" braking by the Digital Control System quickly stabilizes the spool rotation. Digital Control varies the amount of braking force depending on line tension, minimizing the chance of the dreaded backlash. The increased RPM's provided ensures longer casts. The pre-programmed braking patterns allow for not only easy, external adjustment for any situation, but also an extremely manageable cast with less backlash.
