Greetings from Big Lake,
With our recent frontal system our water temperature dropped to 76 degrees,down from 88.As expected the
fish turned on.The surf was green to the beach and flat as a pancake.Trout were being caught on the rock groins from Holly Beach to Johnson Bayou and at the short rigs.We got them on topwaters on the beach front and tails out at the rigs.Best color on the topwaters was the clown.You could do no wrong with a pearl white tail at short rigs.We had near limits two days straight to 6 lbs.It will only get better with each passing cold front.
