FTU business manners !

This is based on a true story , it happen to us my & my bid while driving down to Freeport for a fishing trip . While driving the conversation of electric reels popped up as in our trip deep drop was an option . Needles to say my buddy rIght away got onto the Internet & searched for a electric reel at FTU Houston , to our surprise they had a few particularly the Daiwa Tanacom Bull reels. On the reel specifications on the Internet was all the data of the reel & a very particular wording " battery was included in the package " wow great . We rushed to the shop to purchased the reel. The sales guy that help us I believe was Alan , we told this guy we wanted to purchase it as on their website was advertised with battery included . The fellow wasnt very sure about this & he told us that battery's are not included . To our surprised we show him the internet advertising of their reels in which very clearly mentioned battery included.
Alan right away went to the managers office to inform him about this issue & that a client wanted to purchase this reel if what was on FTU website was honored .
Well well here it comes the good part , once Alan comes back to us his words were :
Look again to the website ! So we did , to find out that right away they corrected to
" Battery recommended "
WTF did it happen here ? We couldn't believe what we just heard & see on my buds iPhone , Unfortunetly he didn't save a copy of the original statement before FTU changed the wording.
Did the " Manager " came out of his hiding hole to face us & discuss the issue ? Hell NO did he or any oF
