When these pesky winds from the SSW subside, those willing to work the gas wells, will find near limits of speckled trout and redfish.
Trinity Bay and this fishing guide for years look foward to these times as a alternative to live croacker.
Use 1/4 or 3/8 lead near the bottom of near 10 feet area around those wells. Be careful, lots of stuff(pipe) still there along with lots of shell.
Color now seems to be glow, pumpkin seed and plum depending on light conditions. Overcast conditions, use dark colors and with excessive sunlight, light colors.
Gulp, Bass Assassins or Norton Sand Eel. Margarita or Chicken on chain works as well…………………..
Wells in F lease, C lease, Sun Oil and the A-lease are all holding great numbers of solid spec’s, some over the one daily limit.Redfish are mostly in the slot, with those over 30 inches.
Using Sufix braid in the 30 lb with FTU Green Rod. Not likely to lose ‘em………………
This pattern will hold till the first cold front of 2009.
Diving seagulls are working near the end of the Texas City Dike area and the Boliver wells are paying off with soft plastic or shrimp. Lots of current in that area. Be sure and use 3/8 or 1/2 lead to get it near the bottom. Best bite on incoming tide.
Lots of liquids and sunscreen,,,,,,,,,,,More soon
god bless’
