I have been catching some nice trout on live bait over shell. Topwater bite has been slow with good luck early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Most of the trout have come on softplastics over sand and grass on a good strong tide movement.

I have been catching trout 18" to 23" in the bay. Most of the fish are coming on topwaters early and softplastics the rest of the day. Surf has produced nice trout on live bait.

Trout fishing has been great the last few days with a pretty good topwater bite. Most of the trout are coming on softplastics. The trout are everywhere it seems. Fishing has been great the last few days. Most of the trout have been coming on soft plastics. The reds are nice in the back lakes. We haven't had much of a topwater bite.
