Our First ever Family Fishing Day!! Great event for the whole family. Brought to you by Fishing Tackle Unlimited and Texas Fish & Game Magazine.

Stop in with the family and check out all the action! We will have seminars for all ages, casting contest, Check your tackle box experts and a FREE Boat Show featuring the best from Mt. Houston Marine.

There will be casting lessons for the kids - all participants will receive a FREE rod/reel combo (limited to kids 12 and younger). Bring the kids by and let a pro show them how to cast a spincast or spinning reel - just their size. There will be targets for the kids who can show up the pros;)

Seminars on Surf Fishing and more from the WalkAbout Angler! Bank Fishing and How Hatcheries benefit our fishing with Texas Parks & Wildlife.

Check your Tackle Box station manned by local CCA volunteers and professional fisherman. Bring Your Tackle box or a list of your favorite tackle. The Pros will tell you if you are stocking what you need for your target species and your type of fishing.

Kayak Demos on safety, paddling techniques and "Family Friendly" kayaks.

Texas Fish & Game will be showing off their Limited Modified Dirt Track Car - All camo'd out with the Fish & Game Logo - Great for a family photo op!
